In 1998, after painting with large brushes directly onto walls, I started to use the spraying technique in my in-situ works, as it allowed me to paint more easily across architectural structures. I experimented with both techniques the following years within the context of multiple exhibitions. Inextricably integrated into the wall, the paintings are opened up into the third dimension by the concrete space of the architecture. When the viewer steps into the room, first one sees my work a whole. Once the the viewer moves further into the room, one is moving within the work.
