As long as I can remember I have been painting in outdoor spaces. Prior to my work in urban spaces, I recurrently worked on canvas or paper in an en plein air context – and eventually went beyond the canvas. Painting on trees, dirt, shirts, cars or airplanes leaps into an unknown sense of reality, as present as a house, as versatile as a spirit. ⁠
